Guiding Principles
People. Integrity. Excellence.

We believe great outcomes come from great people, doing meaningful work, guided by shared values.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Operator First, Investor Second

We are hands-on owners who believe in shared success. We acquire full control of businesses, then collaborate with existing teams to strengthen systems, leadership, and growth strategy.

We bring the mindset of operators and the discipline of investors — aligning everyone around a common vision for sustainable success.

How We Work

  • Collaborative Ownership — We work alongside existing leaders and employees, building on their strengths.
  • Operational Rigor — We apply proven playbooks across finance, technology, and management systems.
  • Long-Term Horizon — As a family office, we grow at the right pace — not bound by fund cycles or deadlines.
  • Strategic Integration — We connect portfolio companies where synergies exist, creating shared platforms for growth.

The Mirada Team

Jimmy Mathews

Jimmy Mathews is the founder and Managing Partner of Mirada Capital Group, LLC. He brings more than 25 years of experience building, acquiring, and investing in businesses across healthcare, aerospace, manufacturing, technology, real estate, logistics, branded merchandise, and consumer markets.

Jimmy’s approach to business is rooted in a simple belief: companies matter most when they improve the lives of the people connected to them. That starts with employees first, by building teams and cultures where people are valued, challenged, supported, and given the opportunity to grow. When that foundation is strong, businesses are better able to serve customers, partners, vendors, and impact communities in ways that create lasting value.

His experience spans startups, acquisitions, board roles, sales and marketing strategy, and technology transformation. Recent investments and acquisitions include AO Swag, Rocket Air Supply, Advanced Trailer, and Green’s Natural Foods. He has also served as a key investor and board member at Pegasus Logistics Group and Remote Roofing.

Jimmy is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Finance and Marketing.

As Senior Vice President of Finance at AO Swag, Perl provides financial leadership across the organization and partners closely with the leadership team to strengthen reporting, improve visibility, support decision making, and build the financial discipline needed for long term growth. Her role combines strategic finance, operational insight, and hands on execution in a growing business environment.

She also built an entrepreneurial finance and accounting practice serving clients such as Nielsen Corporation and Cintrifuse, with a focus on custom financial solutions and operational efficiency.

Previously, as Vice President of Finance at St. Gregory Development Group, Perl helped increase bookings and billings by 50 percent while driving organizational improvements and cost reductions. At Dover Corporation, she enhanced performance visibility, improved transparency, and led continuous improvement initiatives. Across each role, Perl has brought a disciplined, practical, and growth oriented approach to finance leadership.
